The title track for the Deux Voix recording by the same name, "Ages Past & Present" is primarily based on the popular St. Anne hymn tune, or "O God Our Help In Ages Past." It is a lovely and clever blend of contemporary harmony and structure, and Baroque techniques such as fugue and invertible counterpoint. It is also the first new work ever performed by Deux Voix.
